All In A Name

"In love, he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace..."

As we were throwing around ideas for a blog name, we wanted to come up with something that describes us to the fullest extent.  We thought of bogus names, we put our initials together to make words, and we came up with serious phrases too.  We decided on the latter.  As Christians, we believe

that everything we do (even blogs) should reflect Christ and our lives should be an image of God's love.  So, with adoption on our minds (more of this to come later :)), we were lead to Ephesians 1.  When we become Christians we become children of God; God adopts us into the intimacy of his family through Christ Jesus.  How amazing that the God of the universe willed for us to be in his family!  So this is how our blog name came to be.  We believe that We Are Adopted describes us to the fullest extent.  We are children of God, plain and simple.  And as children of God, our greatest desire is to reflect our family heritage in all that we do.  May this blog be used by God to show others his love.
